BACKSTORY

the garcia family is a clan known for being wealthy and owning a well-known winery business. fortunately, ace jaxvien just happened to be the youngest amongst the second generation cousins so it would be safe to say that ace lived a very financially-stable life.

with their family business being based in the philippines, ace basically grew up in the cold and peaceful city of baguio along with his six other cousins.however, underneath the good reputation of the family lies a secret buried 6 feet underground.

each of the members of the clan is gifted with the ability of doing witchcrafts running in their blood and ace being an offspring of shaun garcia, fernando’s eldest son, he was one of them.

the family was able to keep it hidden until the death of the great fernando when ace was 12 year old. on the same year, the cousins learned about the skill and vowed to keep it as their family's tiny little secret.

it was an amusing skill, ace could not argue against it. although it sounds interesting, it just happened to not be ace's cup of tea at such a young age. the rest of the garcia cousins' childhood were spent entertaining themselves with only a wand and a potion book in hand while ace mostly spent his childhood sitting on the bench, caring less about how messy his cousins get, quietly enjoying a different novel every week as he constantly try to drown himself in the music playing in his own mp3 player.

occasionally, the elder cousins would persuade ace to finally make use of his wand and he tries— and he also happens to be good at messing up. the ending would either be requiring a window repair or a broken furniture.

if his cousins' fun place was the potion lab, ace's was definitely the barely used library.

ace was 15 when he realized his immense love for music and writing and decided that i was the life he wants for himself. not without a price to pay, of course. being in a business-inclined family definitely had its many cons, and the wealth his family held turns out to also be the same thing that would hold ace back from pursuing his passion.

ace frequently joins dance groups, attend music seminars and concerts which his father disliked the most. out of desperation, ace had no choice but to secretly make use or the witchcraft skill he had without letting anyone—not even his cousins— know. he decided to engage in shapeshifting spells in order to freely enjoy his passion while he was still under his father's control.

that was when lux dashiel, ace’s sub-body was formed. lux dashiel's features was crafted based off his imagination, funded by the descriptions of the characters he loved in the books he read before. he would often use him as an escape in order to do whatever makes him happy without his father's restriction.

luckily for ace, their family decided to open a huge branch in seoul, south korea and he wouldn't want to waste the opportunity to break free from his father's grip and follow his heart. it took a lot of effort, but ace luckily got the approval he aimed for on the same day ace graduated from high school.

years later, ace graduated in college and joins a self-formed band called black cosmo as a drummer along with a few friends puntagon met along the way. in order to incorporate his love for music and writing, he still produces songs and plays it during his broadcasts as a radio dj in their family's broadcasting station. aside from this, dancing will always be part of ace as well, just not the path he really chose for himself.

but there was a secret that ace will probably never muster the strength to share; the fact that he's a closet writer.
you see, ace's love for literature definitely took a toll on him and he might've ended up written pieces that he didn't want to share. so he wrote them and— well, decided to run his own blogspot called #lcstparadise where he secretly posts them under the pen name MISTERY.
currently, ace moved out of the puntagon dorm together with his finally fiancé yael/kira and moves into a house of their own with their two cute dogs (hizashi and cloud). he's also living a contenting life with his adoptive kids and grandkids, while regularly spending time with his now cousins that are now successful like him, as well.
